General Rule- All dancers need dance attire, dance shoes, and pulled-back hair. No pajamas or jeans. Leotards preferred.
Mini Dance: Ballet dress/leotard, Tights, pink ballet shoes, black tap shoes
Ballet: Pink tights, pink ballet shoes, black leotard, black skirt or shorts optional
Hip Hop: Black/white sneakers, stretchy clothes (leotard preferred)
Jazz/Contemporary: Tan jazz/turning shoes, leotard/tank with athletic shorts or leggings (no baggy clothes or denim)
Tap: Black tap shoes, stretchy athletic clothes
Tumbling: Leotard or unitard, athletic leggings or shorts, bare feet
Competition Teams: Unified practice attire (Black leotard and Black Leggings, can wear black shirt over top if desired)
Restrooms: Please use before coming to class. Please send dancer in a pull-ups if they are not fully independent. There is a restroom in the studio available if needed.
Illness: Please keep sick dancers home. Practice videos and music will be on BAND.
Parent Observation: We ask that only dancers are in the studio. Drop-off/pick-up happens at the barn doors. Parents may observe on the first day if desired (no siblings, please). Dancers tend to do better without a parent in the classroom and extra distractions, which is why we ask parents to just drop their students off.
Punctuality: Be on time for both drop-off and pick-up.
If a student is not picked up within 15 minutes of class end, a $10 late fee will be charged, with an additional $1 per minute added on afterwards. This ensures dancer safety and fairly compensates instructors.
Withdrawals
We know changes happen and if your dancer needs to withdraw, please contact the director to stop tuition billing and to remove your dancer from their registered class. Please also note that costume fees are non-refundable (paid up front).
Please Refer to our Year Calendar Page
Our instructors treat dancers with respect and kindness and encourage students to do their best. Please encourage dancers to do the same with instructors and peers. All are welcome at Radiant.
Tips forHelping Your Dancer to Be Successful at Dance
Physical Health: Encourage them to eat a nutritious snack, drink water, and rest well before coming. Have them bring a water bottle to class.
Mental Health: Encourage them to replace statements about dance like “I should” or “I have to” with “I get to” and “I can.” Treat others and self with kindness!

For our regular classes, the only fees will be monthly tuition and the one-time costume fee. There is no enrollment fee or recital fees. (We do charge $5/ticket at our recitals to help pay for the auditorium) Competition Students will also pay a competition fee in January and have unified practice attire.
